Why isn't all of the data tagged by the author's gender?

Most social networks don't provide gender information. As such, SentiOne uses a dictionary of names to derive the author's gender, wherever possible. When a name isn't available (because the result is anonymous or uses a nickname), the result will not be taken into account. As such, the gender breakdown is based on just a subset of all of the mentions.
